Frank Villafane plays Latin-Jazz piano 'con clave' in the styles of Eddie Palmieri, Pedro 'Peruchin' Justiz and Sergio Mendes. Performer, arranger and composer, Frank has been playing piano since the age of 8. His many influences include the above, as well as Kenny Barron, Vince Guaraldi & Dave Brubeck. Frank has performed with many Latin-Jazz/Salsa conjuntos over the years, and has had the privilege of opening twice for Eddie Palmieri, and appearing twice at the prestigious Red Bank RiverFest Jazz Festival.
